Mr. Eggenberg is Chairman of the Board of Masisa (Chile, with presence in North and Latin America), Member of the Advisory Committee of VIVA Trust and Member of the Board of of various companies in the energy, forestry, and sustainability segments in Europe, the United States and Latin America. In the civil society sector, Mr. Eggenberg was Board Member of Avina Foundation Latin America, Chairman of the Board of Fundes Guatemala; Founding Board member of the Business Councils for Sustainable Development (BCSD) in Panama and Guatemala; Advisory Board member of an IADB Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility, of the SustainAbility Faculty in London; and of the Guatemalan INCAE Council.
Panamanian national, bilingual (English, Spanish), graduated in Finance of the Santa Maria La Antigua University, Panama, and holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University-Owen Graduate School of Management (Nashville, USA), postgrade courses in Universidad Latina (Panama) and Universidad del Contador (Panama) and several seminars in managerial habilities in Panama, Costa Rica and Colombia.
Before his current position, José was CFO of Empresas Tagaropulos (2001-2007) one of the leading distribution companies for the food industry in Panama, CFO of GBM Panama (2000-2001) an IBM alliance for Latin America and CFO of Amanco Panama (1996-2000).
José is member of Fulbright Panama Association, member of the Beta, Gamma, Sigma (The Honor Society for Accredited Business Programs), member of the Financial Planning Association and of APEDE (Panama Executive Business Association).
Swiss and Colombian National, graduated in Business and Administration at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland with a Master in Internal and External Audit. Visited several Management Leadership Programs at the IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. Fluent in Swiss German, German, Spanish and English with good knowledge in Portuguese.
For the past 13 years held Top Management Positions in the Finance, Logistics and Operation Area with Country and Regional P&L Responsibility at Schindler, a leading company in the Vertical Transportation Industry. From 2001 – 2008 CFO at Schindler Venezuela; 2008 – 2011 Area Controller Latin American Countries at Schindler Management, Mexico, 2011 – 2014 CFO and Logistic Manager at Schindler Colombia and most recently Branch Manager at Schindler Mexico.
Roland’s background includes more than 15 years of extensive financial, operational and general management experience in the vertical transportation and service industry with international exposure in most countries in Latin America.
Panamanian national, graduated in Accounting of the Santa María La Antigua University (Panama) and holding an MBA from Lindenwood University, (St Louis, Missouri - USA).
For over a decade, George has been working with multinational companies such as (3M, KPMG and Dell). Responsible for general accounting operations. Also has an extensive financial and analytical experience in budget forecasts, cost accounting, inventory control, internal audits and overseeing different operations in Latin America.
Since 1998, is a member of the Certified Public Accountant Association in Panama and holds a local CPA certification.
Panamanian national, completed her bachelor’s studies with the graduate project "Documentation of the Development process of a photovoltaic plant in Panamá" as an Industrial Engineer at Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá.
Astrid represented the industrial engineering students as member of the Accreditation Engineering Career Board and had a seat in the Governing Body of the university. Also, she fulfilled the role of workshop manager at the XX Congress of the School of Industrial Engineering. She was selected in 2015 to participate in an internship program jointly developed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and ECOSolar.
Previously, Astrid studied at the Sun Yat Sen Institute, and participated in the OCAC – Taiwan Summer Program.
Languages include Spanish (native), English and basic mandarin.
